Alice Unchained - Website of the Month July 2010
We think this could be described as a 'killer app'!
Just before the iPad came out, many observers were wondering whether the iPad was a product looking for a market (a similar situation to this happened years ago when Apple released a product called the Newton.)
The Newton failed to sell in significant numbers, partly because its reach exceeded its grasp. (i.e. it was just not good enough!)
This time, thanks to the 'Wow' factor of apps like the Alice in Wonderland iPad book, plus Apple's success in bolting onto iTunes a music and software shop - Apple has been able to grow its product range organically, which has made it easier for customers to be taken along on a kind of Apple product odyssey, to the point where Apple has created its own customer wonderland.
