Have you been hit by a Penguin? Or a Panda?
HAS YOUR website been slipping down Google's pages after years of ranking highly, even though they still rank highly on other search engines, such as Bing?
If so, your website has fallen victim to Google's Penguin and Panda search engine algorithm updates.
The Penguin/Panda updates have caused havoc with legitimate businesses who, often though no fault of their own, are being penalised for a variety of offences which, not so long ago, were considered 'good practice' by Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) experts.
The fact is, the world is now a bit more unfair. And here's why...
The very people who got you into this mess in the first place (SEO compaines who have used high-risk linking strategies and questionable content to get sites ranking highly on Google in the short term) are the very same people who are now being asked to clean up the mess.
It is as if they are being paid to cause the problem and then paid again to solve it.
Krann has never optimised a site using questionable linking or content tactics. We have never had one of our sites suffer from Google' Penguin and Panda algorithms, except where the client hired someone else to do their linking for them.
Through 2013 and into 2014, Krann's SEO work is mostly from customers requiring someone to pick up the pieces from a Penguin and Panda algorithm 'evaluation'.
Sadly, it is a very long haul. Though we can do an effective and timely job on your website with an SEO 'de-tox', it will take months before Google responds to the fixes - this is because tainted websites are manually reviewed by Google and there is a HUGE queue of sites up for re-inspection) OR they have fallen foul of the automated algorithm and any fixes often won't bear fruit until the algorithm runs an update.
If you are willing to be patient for a few months, then call us. We can help.
If you are looking for a quick fix, it may sometimes be better to create a new site and start from scratch. Again, we can advise on that, so give us a call.
